Field reports: what 12 years of engagements taught
Three field reports, written with their failures included. This is the part of the site where I describe what actually happened, not what should have.
The first covers a hundred-odd PI Plannings facilitated, including three AI agents tested in real conditions: two successes, one failure, and above all a lesson about where you position AI — on the team side or the management side is not the same tool and not the same outcome.
The second covers 18 months as a Release Train Engineer, and the pivot that changed everything: moving from “succeeding” to “enabling others to succeed”. The third follows the move from 5 to 70 AI use cases across three phases — the POC wall, industrialisation, acceleration — and what makes scaling possible: a shared platform and a champions network.
