AI does not transform your organization.
It reveals what it truly is.
If your processes are fuzzy, it amplifies the fuzziness. If your decisions are poorly made, it accelerates them. If your silos are deep, it digs them deeper.
I have seen organizations slap a chatbot on a dysfunctional process and call it a transformation. I have seen others automate a report that nobody actually read. I have seen some accelerate decisions they were already making poorly.
Faster. Worse. At scale.
The real question is not "do you have AI?"
It is: is your organization ready for AI to reveal what it truly is?
Those who ask themselves this honestly are already ahead.
I developed this topic in a full article on the inspearit blog.
If you already cannot manage your technical debt on standard software... Do not even try to play with GenAI. It will not save your IT systems. On the contrary, it will literally sign your digital death warrant.
The Le Monde Informatique article says it bluntly: 95% of GenAI projects fail... and leave behind junk code, phantom apps, and gaping security holes. Now imagine that at organizations already struggling with their current ecosystem.
GenAI will just accelerate the fall if you are not ready. You do not put a nuclear reactor in a wooden shack.
